Learn the ropes or improve your skills in Working Equitation.
This exciting discipline consists of a dressage test (Western or English), an ease of handling trial (like a trail pattern, each obstacle is scored), and a speed trial (timed on the obstacle course).
HWHP is proud to welcome Working Equitation trainer and 2022 Cross Nations Cup Champion Alex Tyson back to our park to continue to introducing people to this exciting new sport in West Michigan.
Working Equitation is a growing sport that combines elements of ranch riding, dressage, trail, speed, and more. You are allowed to ride English or Western, and there are classes for all levels of horses and riders.
On Saturday June 28, 10am-4pm, Alex will teach an introductory clinic for all ages.
Lunch included for auditors & participants.
