In the intermediate/advanced clinic we will be working on fine tuning your mountain trail competition skills! Starting in the morning we will go over a few helpful groundwork exercises for body control and then move to obstacles inhand. During the morning inhand portion of the clinic we will go over sidepassing, backing through obstacles, 180 and 360 degree turns on over and through obstacles. After completion of our morning in hand work, we will break for lunch (provided by HWSC). In the afternoon session we will come back to the course ready to ride and work all the maneuvers on the obstacles all under saddle. We will also work on nailing transitions at the trot and canter going into and coming out of the obstacles by. We will finish the day off by running a few level 2 and 3 patterns. As you negotiate the pattern you will be coached through the course and at each obstacle to allow you to know where you can improve and where you shine!
