- Riders Age is as of January 1, 2008.

- A current Negative Coggins Test (dated after December 1, 2007) will be required to show at HWSC.

- Pony height to be 56” and under.

- Small Fry division is for Walk/Trot Riders 10 and under.

- The Green Horse/Green Rider is a Walk/Trot division for riders 11 and over.  It is designed to encourage riders  that are not yet ready to lope or canter.

 It is also for more experienced riders on young horses that are not yet ready to lope or canter.   We do not encourage Green Riders on Green Horses!

- Small Fry and Green Horse/Riders exhibitors are not eligible for Riding Championship Classes, but are eligible for Championship Showmanship.

- Championship, Sweepstakes, Longe Line & Grooms Class do not count towards Daily Hi Points.

- Lounge Line entries may show under saddle but are limited to the Green Horse classes.

- Daily Hi Point awards are calculated on a one horse/one rider basis.

- Exhibitors may enter more than one halter class but only your best halter placing will count for Daily Hi Point.

- Exhibitors in the Groom Class may not show in any other riding class, but may show in halter and showmanship.

- HWSC reserves the right to combine classes if there are fewer than four entries.

- The Longe Line class will follow NSBA rules except no warm-up time is aloud.

- Flying lead changes will not be required in Western Riding.

- Western Riding will alternately use AQHA, APHA & MIHA patterns 1 & 2.  Copies are available in the clubhouse.

- SEI/STM Helmets are “Strongly Recommended” but not required.

- Jr. Horses are 5 years and under, Sr. Horses are 6 years and over.

- Each Horse /Rider Team may compete in only one division per show.

- Each Horse/Rider Team must use the same back number all season in order for year end points to accumulate.

- Lead Line Class is free, but exhibitors must still enter, obtain a number and sign a waiver.

- Ribbons through 6th place or optional $1.00.

- Members must complete all work credits and show in at least 3 shows to be eligible for year end awards.

Club Policy
Any person entering the grounds absolves and discharges HWSC, Inc. and any person connected to the show from any loss, damage or injury to himself, herself, property or animal.

Horses endangering exhibitors and/or other horses may be asked to leave arena or grounds and the discretion of the Judges or Show Management.
 
If a Severe Weather Warning for Allegan County is still in effect at 7 am, or goes into affect prior to show time, the show will be cancelled.  Show Management has the right to cancel if severe weather occurs during a show.

No alcoholic beverages are permitted on the club grounds.

Returned check fee of $25.00

No refunds given.
